The Driving Test has 2 components
The Theory Test: A multiple choice examination including a case study and a hazard perception test: both carried out on the same day in your choice of Test Centre
The Practical Test: The core part of the test which is takes place over approximately 45 minutes. You will be asked to complete one of 5 core manoeuvres outlined below. This is followed by an independent drive
At Ian’s we provide you with all the knowledge and skills to pass your driving test first time around. We also believe in offering all our customers the complete service so we will even help with booking tests.
We can also liaise with the various Test Centres where we have developed strong professional relationships over the last 25 years in the business.

We offer a BEGINNERS DRIVING LESSONS PACKAGE for manual drive which comprises your first 5 one hour driving lessons for only £155. Otherwise all one hour driving lessons for manual & automatic are priced at £35 regardless of the time of day, weekdays or weekends.Fast track intensive driving courses are also available. Driving lessons usually take place in the Newtownards, Comber and Bangor areas but if you have other requirements just ask us.
